India is a beautiful country situated in the south Asia and was officially declared as Republic of India after its independence from British on 15 August 1947.

It is famous all over the world for its rich unique culture and tradition. India is known for its historical heritage and monuments.

But International media is very unfair with it if you watch any program on you televisions they will only show you the poorer part of the nation the undeveloped part of the nation. They will never tell you that India has one of the fastest growing economy in the world. Being the 2nd largest populated country it is the largest Democratic country in the world. It is the birthplace of great scientists and mathematicians.

1) The science day in Switzerland dedicated to Ex Indian president-

Dr Apj Abdul Kalam also known as missile man of India was great man and great scientist. He rejected the job offer from the NASA and decided to work for his own country. Dr Kalam played a major role in development of India's missile and nuclear program.

In September 2006 when he visited Switzerland, the country decided to celebrate its science day (may 26th) on the birthday of the great Dr Apj Abdul Kalam.

2) Dolphins were treated as a non-human person in India-

Yes, India don't have any dolphinariaum. Scientist found that the Dolphins have a very high level of intelligence as compared to other animals .So the Government of India decided to reject all the proposal to establish a dolphinariaum in the country.

It was a massive event keeping in mind that both Pakistan and China were rapidly expanding their Nuclear power India decided to start the nuclear program in 1974. But the US warned India.

The US spy satellite and CIA was monitoring each and every step of this mission. But Indians never stoped trying, the scientist and the Army officers under the guidance of Dr Apj Abdul Kalam very easily fooled the CIA and its spy satellite and conducted their missile test successfully.

5) Cheapest Mars Mission-

Launched in Nov 5th 2013 The Mangalyan cost only $73 million which was just 11% of NASA's total Mars mission cost.

Not only this with the successfully launch of this satellite India became the 1st country to send its satellite in the Mars orbit in 1st attempt.

6) Water was discovered on Moon by India-

Yes, India was the 1st country to discover water on moon's surface. In September 2009 Chandrayan 1 using its mineral mapper detected presence of water on Moon.

7) World's most expensive house-

Antilia a private house in South Mumbai owned by the richest man of India Mr Mukesh Ambani the chairman of Reliance Industries.

600 staff were required 24/7 to manage this 27 floor house in 40000 sq. foots. The building cost between $1.2- 1.5 billion.

8) Plastic surgery was invented in India -

Many of us think that plastic surgery is a modern inversion but Sushruta an ancient Indian surgeon made an important contribution in field of plastic surgery and also in cataract surgery in 6th century BC.

9) Largest English speaking country after USA-

Only 11% of India's total population speak English but then also it is the 2nd Largest English speaking country.

10) Bear Grylls wanted to join India Army-

The presenter of Man vs. Wild program Bear Grylls wanted something adventures in his life so he wanted to join Indian Army. But he had been rejected because as per rules only a citizen of India can join Indian Army.
